Kaelis — Local multimedia creation

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Kaelis application, a standalone lightweight local multimedia creation tool dedicated to providing users with convenient text, image, and video input, editing, and local storage services.

All core functions can be used without account registration, login authentication, or identity binding.
Users can access and operate all creative functions freely after installing the application.
There are no mandatory personal information submission requirements during the whole usage process.

By using the Kaelis application, users confirm that they fully understand and agree to the service rules, operation specifications and privacy protection standards stated in these terms. All service functions of the application run based on self-developed independent services, bringing users a safe, private and zero-threshold multimedia creative experience.

2. Service Description

Kaelis provides users with one-stop local multimedia creation services, including:

Manual text input
Local image and video import
Material arrangement and basic content optimization
Local data storage

All functional services of the application are independently developed, operated and maintained by our official team. Kaelis does not rely on, invoke or access any third-party service systems, third-party interfaces or third-party technical support. All functional operations are completed locally on the user’s device through our exclusive independent service framework.

The application does not provide cloud upload, remote data synchronization, online sharing and other network transmission functions. All creative behaviors and data processing behaviors are limited to the user’s local device, ensuring the independence and security of user usage behavior.

3. User Privacy Protection Rules

User privacy protection is the core service principle of Kaelis. The application strictly abides by the minimal permission principle and never actively collects irrelevant user personal information.

The only permissions the application applies for are local album and file access permissions, used only to meet basic material import needs for user creation.

Facial information:

Kaelis will never collect, capture, scan, identify or store any user facial information, facial feature data and facial biometric data in any form.
The application has no facial recognition function, no camera calling function related to facial collection, and no facial feature analysis and recording module.
Under no usage scenarios, including normal use, background operation and function switching, will Kaelis trigger any behavior related to facial information collection.

In addition, Kaelis does not collect users’ personal identity information, contact information, location data, address book data, browsing records and other private content. All user operation records and creative content are only stored in the user’s local device, and our team will not actively obtain or back up user private data.

Kaelis absolutely does not share, transmit, sell or disclose any user personal data and creative content to any third-party individuals, institutions or enterprises. There is no third-party data sharing cooperation and data open mechanism, and all user private information is always kept confidential and exclusive to users.

4. User Data Ownership

All text, image, video and other creative content produced by users through Kaelis belong exclusively to the users themselves. Users have full independent ownership, management right and disposal right of all local data generated by the application.

Users can independently view, edit, delete and retain personal creative content at any time.
Our team does not obtain any ownership and usage right of user creative data.
We will not use user private creative content for any commercial or non-commercial purposes without authorization.

All data is only stored locally on the user’s device, and users bear full responsibility for the management and backup of their own local data.

5. User Usage Specifications

Users shall use Kaelis in compliance with relevant device usage specifications and public order and good customs. Users shall not use the application to create, edit or disseminate illegal, obscene, violent, infringing and other inappropriate content. All creative behaviors and content generated by users independently are the sole responsibility of the users themselves.

We reserve the right to optimize and adjust application functions based on product iteration, but we will not actively tamper with or delete user local creative data, nor will we change the core privacy protection rules of the application.
