Kaelis — Data and user experience rules

1. Introduction

This privacy statement outlines the data and user experience rules for the Kaelis application. Kaelis is a standalone lightweight multimedia creation tool designed for users to input, edit, and store text, image, and video content on local devices.

The core principle of this application is user privacy protection and independent service operation. This document clearly explains all data processing behaviors of the application to ensure users can fully understand the privacy protection standards adopted by Kaelis during all usage processes.

Notably, Kaelis does not require any account registration, login, or identity verification for users to access all core functions of the app. Users can directly use all multimedia creation, editing and storage functions without submitting any personal identity information, which fundamentally reduces the risk of personal information exposure.

2. Independent Service Operation Description

All functional services of Kaelis are independently developed, operated and maintained by our official team. The entire content creation, material importing, content editing and local storage functions rely on our self-developed service system and local device operation logic.

Kaelis does not access, invoke or rely on any third-party service platforms, third-party functional interfaces or third-party technical support services during the whole running process.

There is no data transmission, service docking or functional cooperation with any external third-party institutions, companies or platforms.
All operation behaviors are completed independently inside the user’s local device and our exclusive independent service system.
User usage behaviors and content data are not exposed to any external third-party environment.

3. User Information Collection Rules

Kaelis adheres to the minimal privacy access principle, and only obtains the most basic device permissions required to realize core functions, without any additional information collection behavior.

The application only accesses the user’s local album and local file permissions, solely used for importing local images, videos and text materials for content creation and editing.

Facial information — we do not collect:

Kaelis absolutely does not collect any user facial information, does not capture any facial feature data, does not scan or identify user face images, and does not store any facial biometric information of users.
There is no camera calling, facial recognition, facial feature analysis or facial data recording behavior.
The application’s functional logic has no facial information collection module and facial data processing function at all.
Under no circumstances will Kaelis actively or passively obtain, record, backup or analyze any user facial information and facial feature data.

In addition, Kaelis does not collect users’ name, gender, age, mobile phone number, address book, location information, browsing records and any other personal private information. All user operation data and created content are only stored locally on the user’s device, and no automatic upload or cloud collection behavior will be generated.

4. User Data Sharing Provisions

Kaelis will never share, transmit, sell, lease or disclose any user personal information, operation data and created content information to any third-party individuals, enterprises or institutions. There is no third-party data sharing agreement, data cooperation mechanism or data open channel in the application.

All user data generated during the use of the application is completely private and exclusive to the user.
Our official team will not obtain, view or back up user private data without authorization.
We will not transmit any user data to external platforms, advertising channels, cooperative institutions and other third-party subjects in any form.
This no-sharing rule applies to all usage scenarios and all user groups of the application, without any exception.

5. Local Data Storage Rules

All multimedia content created by users, including text content, imported pictures and edited video materials, are stored in the user’s local device through the exclusive local storage function of Kaelis.

The application does not equip with any automatic cloud upload, remote synchronization or network data transmission functions.
Users have full independent control over all local data generated by the application.
Users can independently delete, retain and manage personal creation content and operation records.
Our team will not actively obtain or operate user local data.
